Tstuds are an alternative to solid 2×6 framing lumber designed to break the thermal bridge within the stud itself. Each Tstud has two 2x3s on the flat connected by angled wood dowels, and the space between the 2x3s is either left empty (called BareNaked) or filled with closed-cell spray foam. They can be used for pretty much any framing element in exterior walls: studs, jacks, cripples, plates, and headers.
